Maintenance
Annual maintenance deltas and the yearly CMP fee maintain the certification, not additional initial-route exams or additional production exams.
Population
ServiceNow customers, partners, employees and others seeking administrator-level certification; only initial individual certification is scoped.
Preparation
Welcome to ServiceNow and ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals are recommended, with 3–6 months of instance experience and the other blueprint experience recommendations. Current CSA registration explicitly says course completion is not required but highly recommended. No CIS-DF prerequisite is imposed by these CSA sources.
Registration
Registration secures a paid attempt using credit card or Learning Credits; completed instructor-led training includes one initial attempt and company benefits may discount pricing. Fees are non-refundable. Schedule AND complete within 90 days or register/pay again. Actual appointments remain subject to provider seat availability.
Results
Pass CSA; initial pass/fail is conditional and subject to final review/security audit. Certification may be revoked after investigation of security-policy violations. The badge accompanies the certification.
Retakes
Current FAQ permits repeated mainline attempts with a fee each time; CSA retake $150 before applicable discounts. Wait 3 days between attempts 1 and 2, 30 days between attempts 2 and 3, and 6 months for subsequent attempts; a retake's 90-day period begins after its waiting period.
