Accommodation
For CWNP remote testing, obtain CWNP approval before scheduling; requests go to support@cwnp.com.
Certification Duration
The earned certification is valid for three years; this individual validity period does not establish an official global start or retirement date for the credential or route.
Identification
Remote: present a valid government-issued ID with the name matching the CWNP account. Prometric: one valid unexpired government-issued ID with signature and photo, matching registration exactly.
Passing Standard
70% or higher; instructors must achieve 80% or higher.
Prerequisite
A current and valid CWNA credential is required. The FAQ says to complete CWNA before taking CWDP; if a professional exam was taken first, no certificate is issued until the prerequisite is completed. This is a prerequisite certification, not a newly registered CWNA examination in this task.
Remote Appointment Changes
Notify CWNP at least two full business days before the appointment to reschedule or cancel; later changes generally are not permitted except severe emergencies supported by a doctor's note and individually evaluated. The guide lists a $30 USD fee for missed, canceled appointments or no-shows.
Retake
A 10-day waiting period applies to CWDP retakes, including Saturdays and Sundays.
Scheduling
Rolling appointments through CWNP Remote Proctored Exams or Prometric Testing Center. Prometric appointments require at least one day advance notice and returning candidates should use their existing CWNP ID. For CWNP remote scheduling, have the order number or exam voucher code ready and use the proctor appointment links in the linked guide.
