Certified Wireless Analysis Professional

The CWAP certification is a professional-level wireless LAN certification for the CWNP Program.

Licensing authority: CWNP

Initial by examination
Delivery
CWNP Remote Proctored Exams or Prometric Testing Center (in-person), by appointment.
Identification
Remote candidates need valid government-issued identification matching their CWNP account name; Prometric requires one valid unexpired government-issued photo/signature ID matching registration.
Pass Requirement
Pass the CWAP examination with 70% or higher; instructors must pass with 80% or higher.
Prerequisite Credential
Hold a current and valid CWNA credential to earn CWAP; this records the credential qualification, not a fresh CWNA examination requirement.
Scheduling
Prometric appointments must be made at least one day in advance; returning candidates should use their existing CWNP ID. For CWNP remote scheduling, have an order number or exam voucher code ready and use the proctor appointment links in the official guide. Accommodation requests require CWNP approval before scheduling. The remote guide requires notice at least two full business days before a change, with its stated emergency exception, and states a $30 fee for missed/canceled appointments or no-shows.
Scope
Initial CWAP certification only; no recertification, instructor credential or CWNE award route is created.
