Initial by examination

Applicant: Initial Tilt-Up Technician applicant without sufficient Supervisor work experience
Award Validity: Five years from completion of requirements; not an examination retirement date.
Requirement: Successful completion of the shared written examination only; no Supervisor experience prerequisite or separate performance examination is specified.
Upgrade Context: During the five-year certification period, a Technician may complete the then-current Supervisor experience requirements; an upgraded Supervisor award lasts only for the remainder of the original period. No upgrade or renewal route is submitted.

Format: Closed-book written examination; multiple-choice or true/false; verbal administration requires ACI approval
Time limit: Maximum two hours
Passing score: Minimum 70%
