An individual certification recognizing Blue Prism Enterprise robotic automation development skills, earned by passing the Developer examination. Developer certification has a three-year validity period under the policy starting July 1, 2026.

Appointments
The official FAQ allows booking up to 60 days in advance and describes appointments up to one business day in advance. This rolling booking window does not guarantee a particular seat through January 31, 2027 or establish an examination retirement date.
Award
Passing the Developer exam leads to a digital badge via Credly. Initial certification has a three-year validity period starting with the policy of July 1, 2026; this is holder validity, not an exam-version cutoff. Future renewal examinations are outside this initial route and are not added to production.
Eligibility
No prerequisites. Associate Developer certification, the Developer Learning Plan and three months of hands-on experience are recommended preparation, not additional examination dependencies. The handbook's preparation sequence is read with the explicit None/N/A prerequisite row and the official page's no-prerequisite statement.
Identification
Certiverse requires a valid physical government-issued original ID with name and recognizable photo; registered first and last names must match. Accepted examples are passport, driver's license, national/state/province ID and alien-registration card. Expired, digital and restricted IDs such as DoD CAC are not accepted. For candidates under 18, a parent or guardian presents their own ID and consents to recording; the candidate presents government ID if held, otherwise student ID suffices. Certiverse's listed delivery restrictions apply to North Korea, Cuba, Syria, Sudan, Iran and Sevastopol/Crimea, not the US scope.
Registration
Use a Certiverse account and the official SS&C Blue Prism examination store; select DEV01 in English. Delivery is online live proctored using a secure browser, not a physical test center. A computer with a webcam, stable internet and a quiet space is required; the platform provides technical requirements and system checks. Existing Pearson VUE candidates create a Certiverse account with the same email address and last name to recover history; this is an account-history condition, not a prerequisite score.
Retakes
The initial certification examination FAQ requires a minimum 30-day wait after a failed examination and a new fee. The 15-day rule in the renewal program applies to future renewal examinations, not this initial route.
Technical Requirements
The current Certiverse Test Taker Resources article specifies an internal/external webcam, internal microphone without headset microphones, dual-core CPU, at least 2 GB available RAM, at least 1 GB available disk, and at least 5 Mbps download and upload. Supported systems are Windows 11 or newer or macOS Sonoma 14 or newer; ChromeOS, iOS and Android are unsupported. Use current Edge or Chrome for platform access. Administrator access is required, including on work computers. When the examination instructions require Safe Exam Browser, install it before the SEB compatibility check. The selected DEV01 offering explicitly uses a secure browser; use the platform's examination-specific compatibility instructions. The older help.certiverse.com article was readable through server-side access but its local view was empty and its older 500 MB/OS advice is not used instead of the current support article.

Passing score
A scaled score of 600 or higher on a 200–800 scale; 600 is not a raw percentage.
Exam fee
USD 150 for the US; the official handbook lists other currencies for specified countries.
