Initial by examination
Administering SAS Viya
Appointments
Use the SAS Certification Portal to create or access an account and schedule or modify an exam appointment; payments are made to Pearson at registration.
Cancellation
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment; a no-show or late change forfeits the full exam fee.
Eligibility
Candidate agreement acceptance is required before testing; the current credential page lists A00-451 as its examination. No unsupported educational, employment or prior-certification prerequisite is added.
Initial Retakes
Up to five attempts in a 12-month period, at least 14 days apart, with charges for each attempt; further attempts after passing are outside this initial-qualification route.
Qualification
Pass A00-451 under the current credential requirements and comply with the SAS certification candidate agreement and applicable program rules.
