Access
Register for the course, log into SAFe Studio, navigate Learning Plans & Exams, select the course under In Progress and launch once the instructor confirms attendance. Accept the Candidate Agreement, provide accurate personal registration information and pay applicable fees. The exhaustive course-free exam exception list does not include LPM.
Assessment
Pass the one 90-minute web-based closed-book single-select multiple-choice exam at the published 77% threshold, independently without outside assistance. The practice test is a preparation resource, not an additional examination requirement.
Award
Individual SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager certification with a digital badge; the course completion certificate is distinct. Certification is renewed yearly. No separate performance or writing examination is identified in the official initial route.
Course
Complete the two-day Lean Portfolio Management course in its entirety, remote or in-person instructor-led. Familiarity with Agile at scale is the published audience description, not an invented prerequisite examination.
Language
English examination only; complete the associated course in English as required by the exam-language eligibility rule.
Retakes
LPM guide: $50; first retake immediately after failure, second retake after 10 days, third retake after 30 days and further retakes after 30 days. The Candidate Agreement prohibits retaking an exam already passed.
Window
One first attempt included in the course registration fee within 60 days of course completion, expiring 11:59 PM in the account time zone. No extension; a missed window requires a retake purchase. The individual course/access window must cover the desired sitting date; no unconditional future seat guarantee is asserted.
