Create a Qlik Learning account, purchase using the exam-details Purchase Here link, accept Certification Terms and Conditions, and wait for the exam-availability email (within 24 business hours). No fixed examination date/time appointment is required. Payment accepts major credit/debit cards and applicable certification vouchers; partner discounts apply at checkout. The acquired purchase endpoint redirects to Qlik login, so no authenticated seat was purchased or verified.
Applicability
This route concerns the currently catalogued unnumbered English Compose exam. The official delivery-update announcement expressly states exam content and certification criteria do not change. Publication and retrieval dates are not treated as effective dates. No official start or retirement date was identified.
Authorized Materials Interpretation
The published wording lists web searches while also prohibiting web browsers; both statements are retained without asserting unrestricted internet permission. Candidates must follow Qlik's examination instructions and proctor guidance.
Authorized Materials Verbatim
All Qlik certification exams are open book. This means you are permitted to use the following authorized test aids during your exam. The authorized exam materials are limited to Qlik Learning courses and use cases, Qlik and Talend products, documentation, knowledge-based articles, your own study notes, and web searches. The use of AI or AI-assisted tools and web browsers is strictly prohibited. Remember, all certification exams are recorded and proctored online, so you are supervised.
Award
A passing score on the Qlik Compose certification examination earns the product certification badge; new awards are available in Credly and Qlik Learning History, and Qlik no longer issues certificates.
Delivery
Online, proctored and recorded through Webassessor; launch through Qlik Learning or the registration-confirmation email. No separately created Webassessor account or secure-browser download is required. Current guidance does not offer on-site testing centres.
Eligibility
Certification exams are open to all users evaluating Qlik/Talend expertise. The Compose exam recommends at least 2-3 years implementing data warehouse and/or data lake solutions, warehouse architecture and full development-life-cycle knowledge, and business-requirement interpretation. These are published as recommended experience, not a separate prerequisite exam or compulsory training completion.

Identity And Equipment
Valid government-issued photo ID with first/last name matching registration; mobile phone or webcam for face and ID photographs; laptop/desktop, working webcam and microphone, stable internet, and clear testing area. The update specifies at least 50 MB available storage, 1024 x 768 resolution, English QWERTY keyboard, USB connection for external webcams, Windows 10/11 with latest Chrome or Firefox, or macOS Monterey/Ventura/Sonoma/Sequoia with latest Safari, Chrome or Firefox; conduct the prescribed system check. A personal non-work computer is recommended.

English only; non-native English speakers may request additional time through Qlik support. Disability/health accommodations should be requested before registration.
Scoring
Scores depend on correctly answered questions; multi-answer items require exactly the specified number of answers and receive no partial credit. The current Compose passing score is 70%.
Training
Instructor-led training and Qlik Continuous Classroom Data Integration courses are preparation recommendations. The current catalogue names Compose Essentials and Compose Advanced. Learning plans are highly recommended; an active Qlik Learning subscription is required for training-course access. Preserve the General and Support Q5 wording that a Qlik account is required for exams and associated learning content (Qlik Learning Subscription required); no subscription waiver is inferred.
