- Exam Discretion
- R156-1-302(4): the Division may require an applicant for licensure by endorsement to pass one or more of the exams required to obtain licensure in the profession; the exam required for this licence is the NPTE-PT (R156-24b-302b).

- Prior Examination
- The NPTE-PT leaf is normally satisfied by a passing score earned for the original license: R156-24b-302b(3) requires every applicant for licensure to have FSBPT send the passing examination score to the Division, the DOPL endorsement sheet lists "Pass the NPTE" among Utah qualifications, and R156-1-302(4) lets the Division require an endorsement applicant to pass the exams required for licensure.
