Delivery
Proctored online. Personal desktop/laptop, reliable Internet, microphone and webcam required. Government-issued ID must exactly match registered first and last names; two acceptable IDs may be requested. Check in 30 minutes early. Be alone in a quiet room without prohibited devices, materials, headphones or virtual backgrounds.
Export Restrictions
Admission, payment and certification remain subject to Oracle's Export Restrictions Policy. It applies to nationals of countries/regions under US restrictions, including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and Crimea; special restrictions also apply to citizens of Venezuela. Oracle cannot directly or indirectly accept payment from or deliver examinations to nationals of export-restricted countries wherever located, including in the US. A restricted-country national who registers at a test center in an authorized country using an authorized-country address but presents restricted-country ID will be turned away and forfeit the fee. Permanent residents living outside the restricted country may receive case-by-case consideration: they may request an exemption from the Oracle Certification Program with a copy of valid ID confirming their new permanent-resident status. At a test center, two signed IDs are required, neither bearing an address in the restricted country; one must be government-issued by the new country of residence and confirm permanent-resident status. Other possible exceptions concern approved asylees in a country outside the embargoed list and dual citizens whose most recent country of citizenship is not on that list. All exceptions require complete documentation and case-by-case review under presiding US law through a service request to the Oracle Certification Program. These are possible exceptions, not automatic exemptions: export licensing requirements can still prevent examination delivery or certification despite permanent residence outside the restricted country.
Portal Context
The learning-path DOM includes a display:none generic 80% Learning Path Completion Required dialog. It was not triggered; this hidden portal template is not treated as evidence of an applicable gate contrary to the public examination's explicit optional-training statement.
Preparation
The examination page calls recommended training optional and strongly recommends current training and substantial OCI experience. Learning-path prerequisites address understanding of core IAM, Networking, Compute and Storage, with at least one year of experience recommended; no other examination is named.
Scheduling
Oracle/MyLearn account and usable exam attempt; choose an available appointment. General purchase guidance allows six months, and all use must be within the actual attempt subscription dates. Requested 2026-11-25 through 2027-02-28 appointments remain subject to seats and account-specific validity. No institutional arrangement or future seat is asserted.
