Each license and applicant pathway has its own requirements and exemptions. Choosing practice questions does not determine your eligibility.

Nutanix Certified Professional - Multicloud Automation (NCP-MCA)

Nutanix professional certification recognizing multicloud infrastructure and application automation skills, earned by passing the NCP-MCA 7.5 examination.

Licensing authority: Nutanix

Initial by examination
Applicability
Current official detail page adopts the freshly retrieved 7.5 blueprint. No official start or retirement date is stated. Null boundaries do not assert historical applicability or permanent availability.
Appointments
Requested horizon is November 25, 2026 through February 28, 2027. FAQ sessions are normally available up to three months in advance, subject to actual seat/date availability in the account-based portal; no future seat was booked or guaranteed.
Award
Passing the 7.5 exam earns NCP-MCA 7 certification, valid for three years from achievement; no fixed population-wide credential expiry date is inferred.
Continuing certification
Later renewal options in section 1.12 are outside the initial pathway and do not create initial prerequisite exams or additional production targets.
Delivery
Remote proctoring requires valid identification and a locked-down monitored browser experience; in-person candidates choose a selected test center and arrive 15 minutes early with government-issued ID. No mandatory school or institution arrangement is stated.
Language
English only in this task.
Preparation
The candidate typically has 3-6 months of relevant experience; NMCAA is recommended, not required. The blueprint states no prerequisite certification. The beta blog's invitation to existing NCP-MCI holders is not phrased as a mandatory eligibility requirement; the currently linked FAQ says prerequisites are stated in each exam's EBG.
Registration
Use Nutanix University My Certifications and Schedule to reach the candidate dashboard; identity validation is required. Current exam-specific page states $200 per attempt. Nutanix does not allow the use of a personal email address for certification, as expressly stated in FAQ p.6.
Retakes
Two further attempts after initial failure, with a seven-day waiting period between attempts. After three attempts there is a 60-day wait, followed by contacting university@nutanix.com for an attempt reset.
