Initial by examination

Appointments
The public guide describes delivery, not guaranteed seats on each requested date. The official Take the Exam link led to authentication; no account was created and no appointment was booked.
Audience
Approximately two years of general IT experience, twelve months using Nutanix technologies and six months using AWS or applicable training, as described in blueprint section 2.
Certification Validity
Three years after earning the certification; this personal validity period is not an examination-version end date.
Delivery
Remote proctoring or selected in-person test centers, with validated identification; test-center candidates arrive fifteen minutes before the start with government-issued ID.
Passing Requirement
A passing score on NCP-CI-AWS 6.10 earns the certification.
Recertification
Renewal by an equivalent NCP or NCM examination is a later-stage policy, outside this initial AWS examination task.
Retakes
Two additional attempts after the first failure, with a seven-day wait between attempts; after three attempts a sixty-day wait applies before requesting an attempt reset.
Scope
The initial AWS examination pathway only; this does not assert that AWS is the only examination pathway to the shared NCP-CI 6 award.
Training
Course attendance is not required. The blueprint recommends NC2A-AWS training and prior Nutanix/AWS knowledge; approximate experience describes the intended audience, rather than an independently enforced prerequisite examination.
