Initial by examination
- Applicability
- The current credential page, linked current exam-requirements poster and its adopted English guide support this evaluation date. Credential and route inception and cutoff are not published and remain null; the scope-effective date is not substituted for either. Renewal is outside this initial-examination pathway.
- Candidate Profile
- Recommended expertise in Azure networking, experience creating/managing Azure compute, storage and networking resources, and understanding of name resolution, network protocols and network address management. The source says should, not a mandatory prerequisite credential or completed training.
- Scheduling
- Rolling appointments through the credential page's Pearson VUE entry; no fixed window is stated. Maximum two Microsoft exams scheduled concurrently through Pearson VUE; appointments no more than 90 days ahead. Use a Learn profile; a personal Microsoft account is recommended and legal name must match legal ID. Request accommodations before scheduling. Online delivery depends on provider availability and computer/exam-area security requirements; test-center delivery is another option under the policy.
- Scope
