Initial by examination
Date Applicability
Current official certification and appointment pages link the English AZ-120 guide whose skills apply from April 17, 2026. The certification and this initial route have no published start/end dates in the obtained sources, so those boundaries remain null. Renewal is acknowledged only to distinguish it from the initial route.
Qualification
Initial certification by passing AZ-120. Extensive SAP applications/database and infrastructure experience is recommended; Azure Administrator Associate is strongly recommended, not a mandatory dependency. Training and renewal are outside this route.
Registration Conditions
Legal name in the Learn profile must match legal ID. Accommodations should be requested before scheduling. Online proctoring or test-center delivery depends on provider availability; an unavailable online option is not guaranteed. The examination is proctored and offered in English among the listed languages.
Scheduling
Appointment-based registration through the certification detail's Pearson VUE button for exam.AZ-120; no annual application window is stated. Microsoft allows scheduling at most 90 days ahead and at most two Microsoft certification exams at a time through Pearson VUE; another may be registered after taking or cancelling one. Personal MSA is strongly recommended; organizational AAD records can become unrecoverable after leaving the organization.
