Initial by examination
Applicability
The April 16 announcement establishes the required AI-103 examination. Current certification and scheduling pages sustain that relationship at evaluation. Expired beta discount conditions and the announcement's prospective June launch wording are not current eligibility rules. No official start date for the certification or initial route is supplied, so both are null.
Assessment
The current certification page offers the exam in English and nine other listed languages; the scoped version here is English. The assessment is proctored and may have interactive components.
Candidate Profile
The issuer recommends Python application development experience and familiarity with general AI, generative AI and Azure services; this wording is not converted into a mandatory prior credential.
Registration
A Learn profile is used for registration; legal name must match legal ID. A personal Microsoft account is recommended. Request accommodations before scheduling. For online delivery, verify provider availability and run the required system pre-check.
Scheduling
Rolling appointments through Pearson VUE, subject to availability; at most two Microsoft Certification exams scheduled at once and no more than 90 days in advance.
