Applicability
Current official CC initial-certification policy and latest English CC outline effective September 1, 2026 support the evaluation date; no official route or credential start/end date is supplied.
Application
After notification of a passing CC examination result, complete the Certification Application within nine months of the exam date.
Audit
A percentage of passing candidates submitting applications are randomly selected for audit and may be required to provide additional verification information.
Experience
No work experience is required for CC; its application contains questions and agreements concerning the ISC2 Code of Ethics and privacy policy.
Membership
After application approval, the first AMF is due; no additional AMF is required if already holding an ISC2 certification. For an ISC2 Candidate whose annual dues for that year are already paid, those dues cover the CC AMF and no upgrade fee is due.
