Insurance Producer
Individual insurance producer licensure for property, casualty, both lines, or personal lines. AS 21.27.160 makes one licence inclusive of authorized lines; personal lines is a line of authority, not a second licence identity. The historic student-loan temporary renewal authorization in AS 14.43.148 was repealed effective January 1, 2019 by Chapter 23 SLA 2018, notwithstanding its remaining cross-reference in 3 AAC 23.100(a)(3). The property/casualty scope includes the limited producer forms with property, liability or surety coverage, including credit property, bail bonds and the property risks covered by travel insurance. Title insurance is expressly outside the property definition in AS 21.12.060 and is separately defined by AS 21.66.480(6).
