HPE Aruba Networking certified professional - Campus access

An HPE Aruba Networking technical certification validating intermediate knowledge and implementation of wired and wireless campus networks.

Licensing authority: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company

Initial by examination
Account And Booking
Use an HPE profile to log in to https://cp.certmetrics.com/hpe and select the eligible HPE7-A01 exam; finalize a reservation through Pearson VUE. Current explicit HPE/Pearson instructions remove the separate Pearson account and HPE Learner ID requirement for scheduling/taking exams. An HPE Learner ID remains required for instructor-led training delivered by an HPE Learning Partner. No account was created and no appointment availability was tested.
Availability
Requested horizon November 25, 2026 through January 31, 2027. No explicit examination retirement date found in the current official exam materials and linked release notes; no retirement before March 1, 2027 was identified. This is not a guarantee of future seats or a claim that the exam never expires.
Certification Application
Complete HPE's certification application process and accept its Candidate Agreement. The certification data sheet describes registering for the certification in The Learning Center to track progress; it does not add an examination leaf.
Delivery
US candidates may book a Pearson test centre or OnVUE appointment for this non-Expert HPE7 examination. No fixed public sitting date, unproctored on-demand access or institution-arranged assessment is inferred. A reservation and appropriate identity documents are required; the Candidate Agreement must be accepted and no reference material is allowed.
Onvue
Meet Pearson HPE OnVUE technology, testing-space, identification and testing rules; pass the system test on the same device/network, use a supported Windows/macOS computer with one display, webcam, microphone and speaker and adequate connection, remain alone in a cleared private testing space, present matching government-issued photo ID, and begin check-in 30 minutes before the appointment. Minors require their own ID plus a parent/guardian at check-in. No physical notes or unauthorized aids; follow proctor directions and webcam/recording rules. Restrictions and accommodations remain as in the preserved official OnVUE page.
Population
Candidates new to this certification; recertification is outside the requested initial pathway.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this path. The typical candidate's 2-5 years of experience is a candidate profile, not an imposed prerequisite or a second examination.
Retakes And Cancellation
No waiting period between first and second failed HPE7 attempts; after two failures in fourteen days, wait at least fourteen days from the last attempt. Retakes cost the original/standard price. Cancel or reschedule within the programme's stated 24-hour appointment deadline. Voucher validity is not exam-version validity.
Training
Implementing Campus Access, Rev. 26.31 (0001215479) is recommended training, with VILT/ILT typical duration 5 days. It is not a mandatory course or practical examination. Supporting older Rev. 23.11 training does not entitle the candidate to sit the pre-July-1 examination after July 1, 2026; current English content applies.
