Licenses, application pathways and examination requirements
Each license and applicant pathway has its own requirements and exemptions. Choosing practice questions does not determine your eligibility.
Aesthetician's License
Arizona individual license to practice aesthetics under A.R.S. 32-510. The law separately assigns cosmetic laser certification to the Department of Health Services (32-516), exempts licensed aestheticians from separate eyelash registration (32-519(D)), and defines the compact license as a cosmetologist license (32-581); those are not additional Board-issued aesthetician license identities.

Reactivate inactive license — one year or more but less than five
- Course format
- Where the class applies, complete the six videos and signed attestation; no scored exam is identified.
- Educational proof
- 32-518(B)(2) or 32-537(B)(2) requires proof of Board-prescribed educational requirements. R4-10-204(A) says fewer than two years may reactivate by paying the delinquent fee; R4-10-204(B) adds infection protection/law review training for more than two and fewer than five years. Retain the statutory proof requirement; the published rule does not expressly assign exactly two years to either interval.
- Fees
- Pay the prescribed delinquent renewal penalty.
- Inactive period
- License inactive for at least one year but less than five years.
- Practice
- No practice or teaching until the license is reactivated.
