Licensing authority: Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners · Application information
Licensure by credentials
- Clinical Examination
- Proof of successfully passing a clinical examination for licensure, with results sent directly from the state or regional testing agency that administered it (17 CAR § 115-901(a)(14)); no official source identifies which clinical examinations are accepted for this route.

- Statutory Basis
- Ark. Code § 17-82-308(a) permits a dentist practicing continuously for five years or more under a license of another state, territory, the District of Columbia or Canada to apply "without undergoing the examination required for licensing provided for in §§ 17-82-304-17-82-306"; the Board may in its discretion issue the license (§ 17-82-308(c)). The Board rule 17 CAR § 115-901 exercising that authority requires the INBDE and the Arkansas Jurisprudence Examination.
