Licensing authority: CrowdStrike · Application information
Initial by examination
- Accounts And Delivery
- A Pearson candidate account and matching government-issued ID are required for scheduling/identity verification. Delivery is at a Pearson test center or via Pearson OnVUE, subject to actual appointments and online system requirements. No exact future seat availability was verified.
- Applicability
- Current public owner program and FAQ link the submitted guide for CCFR. The September 2026 last-updated marker is not an official effective date. No applicable official retirement/replacement announcement was found; official exam, route and credential date boundaries remain null.
- Credential Maintenance
- Certification is valid for three years from successful examination completion; recertification requires passing the current examination. This holder-specific duration is not an exam-version retirement date.
- Eligibility
- All registrants must accept the CrowdStrike Certification Exam Agreement and be at least 18. Achieving a passing score and refraining from misconduct are required for certification.
- Language
- Only the English examination is investigated; the guide expects sufficiently fluent English comprehension and states suitability for non-native English speakers.
- Registration Payment
- The current CCFR guide instructs all registrants to purchase an exam voucher; the owner's current FAQ and Pearson instructions also explicitly allow payment by credit card during scheduling. Vouchers cost $250 USD; designated Flex subscription named users receive included vouchers. Pearson credit-card checkout may add taxes and fees.
- Retakes
- Wait 48 hours after the first failure, then seven days for the third and subsequent attempts. Beyond the fourth attempt is case-by-case. A technical fourth failure permits a fifth attempt. A fourth failure due to performance requires 30 days, completion again of recommended training, and meeting with the CrowdStrike Certification Manager before fifth-attempt registration. Previously passed exams cannot be retaken except approved recertification; beta exams cannot be retaken.
- Training And Product Access
- No initial-attempt training prerequisite or CSU-account prerequisite per the explicit owner FAQ. CSU courses, recommended reading and at least six months of Falcon experience are strongly recommended. Optional CSU learning access requires the organization's active CrowdStrike subscription and Customer Center access; instructor-led training may require credits. Subscription vouchers attach to designated named users, not a universally required subscription purchase.
