Accommodations
Select the EXT examination for the non-native-English 25% time extension; special accommodations must be requested at least one month before the intended examination.
Applicability
Current official ISTQB and ASTQB pages select the English v2.1.1 syllabus, whose errata retain the v2.1 examination allocation in Tables v1.19. No official start or retirement boundary is published for this route in the adopted sources.
Appointment
Register through ASTQB's official exam provider AT*SQA; online proctored or testing-center appointment. Codes must be used within 365 days of purchase with no extensions; online exams are available throughout the week, 24 hours a day.
Online Equipment
A personal computer with full administrative access is required; work computers are not accepted for online exams.
Recommendations
Software development or testing background (for example six months as a tester or developer), an accredited course and/or initial automotive E/E testing experience are strongly recommended, rather than alternatives to the CTFL certificate.
Refunds
Canceling an exam does not issue a refund; email refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase.
Required Interest
Interest in testing in automotive development projects.
Required Prior Qualification
Hold the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certificate before sitting the CT-AuT examination; prior CTFL certification is an eligibility qualification, not a new CTFL examination task in this survey.
