The same exam is listed as Journeyman or Stand-Alone. Later Journeyman CET upgrade requires Associate CET (CETa) or General Communications Technician - Level 1 and two or more years of training/experience.

ETA Certification Administrator proctoring in person, or ETA-arranged ExamRoom.AI remote proctoring.
Stand Alone
CSI may be earned stand-alone.
