Licenses, application pathways and examination requirements

Each license and applicant pathway has its own requirements and exemptions. Choosing practice questions does not determine your eligibility.

Licensing authority: Maine Bureau of Insurance, Superintendent of Insurance

Continuation
License continues indefinitely unless suspended, revoked or terminated; pay the biennial continuation fee by April 1 of odd-numbered years (§1416-A).

Apply using the uniform entity application, pay fees, and designate a responsible licensed person (§1424-A(2)).
