Biennial renewal

- Education Exceptions
- Age 65 with at least 15 years of licensure exempts CE; active military service also qualifies under .0522(d). Good-cause extensions are available under G.S. 58-71-71(e) and .0524. Pre-1994 licensure alone does not exempt CE.
- Lapse
- Failure to meet CE or renewal documentation lapses the license. Lapsed-license applicants use reinstatement, rather than this renewal route.
