Candidate Profile
Current outline describes at least 150 hours of instruction and/or hands-on AutoCAD experience, foundational knowledge and supervised entry-level work; it does not demonstrate an account-system-enforced hours prerequisite. The earlier product page's 50-hour recommendation is not substituted for this current profile.
Holder Expiration
Current ACU holder validity is five years; it does not establish an exam retirement date.

Registration
Create a Certiport account; arrange an authorized testing-center or school session and its payment/proctoring conditions. Use supported AutoCAD software and an active Autodesk application license for local LITA delivery.
Seat Requirements
Center policies require photo-and-signature identification, signed parental consent for candidates under 18, acceptance of the NDA and applicable terms, and administrative seat time in addition to timed exam time. No oral exam, separate writing submission or another named prerequisite examination is stated in the complete earning criteria; performance work remains part of this one examination.
