OAR 853-035-0000 applies to individuals applying for an RCFA license and requires the Oregon examination; out-of-state licensure alone establishes no automatic examination waiver.

Submit the certificate of examination completion with the license application and applicable fees; taking the examination before applying does not remove this examination from the route.
Training
At least 40 hours of HLO-approved training meeting OAR 853-035-0010.
Transitional practice
ORS 678.720(2)(c) and OAR 411-054-0065(5)-(6) allow DHS-controlled temporary designee or interim arrangements. These are facility practice exceptions, not additional Board-issued RCFA license types.

No examination is required for this applicant pathway.
Application and fees

Permission ends with the declaration; this is a practice exception rather than a separate Board-issued RCFA license.
