Applicability
The current official Commerce directory links this Developer Professional offering; its current page identifies AD0-E724. The retirement table lists this certification as an alternative for the retiring Front-end role. No official effective-date boundary is published for this examined version, credential or route; those dates remain null. A two-year period of an individual's certification is not the validity end date of the credential definition.
Changes
Candidate must change appointments personally. Rescheduling or cancellation must precede the appointment by at least 24 hours; late cancellation forfeits the voucher. Rescheduling cannot exceed voucher expiry, and retiring exams cannot be rescheduled.
Delivery
English, online proctored with camera access; prepare the required software and system test and follow the examination's workspace and conduct rules.
Identification
Profile legal name must match government ID; digital IDs are not accepted. Name corrections require a support ticket at least 72 hours before the appointment; non-Western-character IDs are permitted.
Qualification
Pass the AD0-E724 proctored examination for this certification; preparatory training is not mandatory.
Recommended Experience
Six months to one year of hands-on Adobe Commerce experience; basic development, architecture, EAV/database, checkout and sales, catalog and admin UI knowledge; familiarity with Commerce 2.4.7, PHP, MYSQL, OOP, cloud architecture and Commerce design patterns. These are recommendations, not a separately proved mandatory eligibility gate.
Scheduling
Choose an available appointment through the certification page's Manage exam workflow; a voucher or payment is required. Appointments can be scheduled up to 60 days ahead; accommodations can be requested up to 7 days before the appointment.
