Licensing authority: Adobe · Application information

Initial by examination
Account And Booking
Use a Certiport test-candidate account and arrange a supported exam session with the chosen authorized provider. The general online scheduling page requires account login, candidate-role selection, exam selection, information verification, payment or applicable voucher and completion of scheduling. Do not equate a voucher or the current catalog listing with a reserved future seat.
Applicability
Current official adoption and the en-us production listing were checked on 2026-10-28. The directory-linked four-page objective-domain PDF was obtained, read and visually verified, including domain 6, the p.1 Target Candidate description and p.4 final NOTE; it agrees with the web guide's six domains and 22 objectives. Precise official start/end boundaries remain unpublished and null; retrieval, annual file packaging and PDF metadata are not treated as effective dates. Handoff still requires independent review and formal acceptance.
Award
Pass the scoped Firefly examination to earn its individual certification and badge; the multi-certification specialty awards are separate and excluded.
Catc Requirements
At a CATC, provide personal identification bearing photograph and signature; candidates under 18 provide signed parental consent. Accept the NDA and presented terms; follow restrictions on communication, recording devices and reproduction of exam content and the applicable retake policy.
Credential Currency
Each issued certification is valid for three years after issue; this rolling holder period is not an exam-version validThrough date.
Format
Firefly-specific SR/Non-LITA records establish one answer-scored examination with standard and interactive questions and no Live-in-the-Application section, resolving generic ACP marketing references to application tasks. No separate practical or writing examination is created.
Modalities
The current Firefly en-us catalog lists Compass Cloud, Compass for Mac, Compass for Windows and Exam from Home. General ACP pages advertise an English-only OnVUE option; confirm actual Firefly selection with the provider rather than infer OnVUE from Exam from Home.
Preparation
Approximately 150 hours of combined instruction and hands-on experience is the target/recommended preparation, not an evidenced mandatory course-completion or separate prerequisite-exam requirement.
Seat Time
The examination is 50 minutes, with additional administrative seat time for login, terms, tutorial, loading, feedback and results; no numeric seat-time total is invented.
