Academy Eligibility
The Customer branch is for Acquia customers and their development partners; customer work email is required and development partners must be allowlisted through the customer's Account Manager. The Partner branch is for Acquia Certified Partners with work email and administrator-moderated access. The Community branch has courses for anyone wishing to learn about Drupal or Acquia offerings. Only one Academy branch registration is allowed.
Accounts And Seat
Create and use your own Acquia Academy account on the appropriate single branch, enrol in the named exam in the certification catalogue, then follow Schedule and Launch to sign in/create a ProctorU account, accept the invitation, choose an offered appointment, and pay or redeem an exam voucher/access code. Other people cannot register on the candidate's behalf. Appointment inventory for the requested future horizon was not queried or guaranteed.
Award
Register for and pass the named DAM Administrator exam (70% pass/fail mark). This route selects English only.
Preparation
The guide addresses newcomer, intermediate and experienced DAM administrators. It directs newcomers to DAM Basics, Insights Basics and Portals Tutorial Library, recommends product documentation and self-assessment, and offers private training. It says practical experience is needed and recommends at least three months as a DAM administrator OR competence in the listed domains. These preparation recommendations are not converted into extra prerequisite examinations or independent practical/writing score components.
Proctoring
Take the scheduled online-proctored exam with ProctorU. Current dedicated instructions require Guardian browser, a webcam, one monitor, compatible equipment checked beforehand, a quiet private workspace, removal of restricted reading materials/headphones, and disabling remote-desktop/VM software. A camera phone is used for setup and then stored out of sight. The proctor checks the workspace and enters the access password. No help or tutoring is allowed. These current instructions supersede the generic FAQ's older browser-extension/Logmein wording.
Retakes And No Show
After failure, register and pay/redeem another voucher, wait at least two weeks, and observe the maximum of three attempts; a fourth requires a programme-office waiver. Cancellation/rescheduling at least 24 hours before the appointment qualifies for full refund. No-show forfeits the attempt without refund and requires fresh payment or access code.
Scheduling
The programme FAQ specifies scheduling at least 24 hours beforehand. The current registration guide charges USD 12 for scheduling within 72 hours; Acquia-provided vouchers do not cover that surcharge. Setup/testing at least 72 hours beforehand is recommended. The official workflow provides offered appointment dates/times rather than a fixed annual testing window; no institution-arranged alternative was evidenced.
Validity
Certifications do not expire under the current programme policy. This does not establish or extend the examination's availability. No official exam-version commencement or retirement date was published in the reviewed current materials; nullable boundaries remain unknown.
