Acquia Certified Cloud Pro

Professional certification validating a developer's skills in hosting and maintaining Drupal applications on Acquia Cloud Platform, earned by passing the Cloud Pro examination.

Licensing authority: Acquia · Application information

Initial by examination
Account
The candidate must personally create and confirm an Acquia Academy account, separate from a Cloud Platform account, accept the privacy policy, enroll in the exam, then sign in or register with ProctorU via the invitation. Only one Academy branch account is permitted. Customer branch access uses work email and allowlisting; partner branch uses work email and administrator moderation; the community branch is available for anyone interested in Acquia offerings.
Award
Pass the single Cloud Pro examination; this submission selects its English offering only.
Policies
The FAQ requires a two-week wait after a failed attempt, permits at most three attempts without a fourth-attempt waiver, and requires re-registration and payment or a new coupon/voucher for retakes. Cancellation/rescheduling at least 24 hours before the appointment receives a full refund; late cancellation and no-shows forfeit the payment/attempt.
Preparation
The official guide addresses newcomer, intermediate and advanced learners, directs newcomers to introductory Academy courses and says real-life practical experience is needed; it recommends at least 2-3 projects. Course completion alone may not prepare a candidate. These preparation directions are retained without inventing a separate assessed course or prerequisite examination.
Proctoring
Follow current dedicated online-proctoring instructions: Guardian browser, compatible hardware and software, webcam, one monitor, quiet private workspace, no restricted materials, headphones, assistance or virtual/remote desktops. A camera phone is needed for setup and must then be stored out of sight. The proctor checks the room and enters an access password before the candidate starts. The general marketing FAQ's older Chrome/Firefox-extension description is not substituted for these dedicated instructions.
Scheduling
The certification FAQ says to schedule at least 24 hours ahead. Scheduling within 72 hours incurs a USD 12 premium, which an Acquia-provided voucher does not cover; schedule at least 72 hours ahead to avoid it. Setup and system testing at least 72 hours ahead is recommended.
Seat
Select an available date/time and confirm the session; pay or apply a voucher/access code. No institution-specific assessment, extra writing examination, performance examination or named prerequisite exam is established by the current Cloud Pro guide and registration instructions. No booked seat or guaranteed future appointment is claimed.
Validity
No official start date, version number or Cloud Pro examination retirement date was published in the current retrieved guide, blueprint, program directory or applicable end-of-life schedule. The 2027-01-28 three-month cutoff and stricter pre-2027-03-01 retirement exclusion therefore have no known conflicting Cloud Pro boundary. Nonexpiring earned credentials do not prove perpetual examination availability.
